Theme: The season opener for the club activites and the first event
with the new Bigbrainz team. A full fledged quiz contest with topic
covering each and every aspect of general awareness. The top team from
each brach was selected on basis of a written elimination round.
The complete quiz was given an entertaining format for the teams as
well as the audience. Reliving the thrill of Cognizance '06, the
complete event was highly appreciated.

GOOGLE IT '06
Date conducted: October 5 (Prelims) & 7 (Finals)2006.
Venue: Institute Computer Labs, LNCT.
Turnout: 250 plus.
Level: Intra-college.
Theme of the event:
A novel online treasure hunt event with a preliminary part that
tested the mettle of participants in general awareness regarding
internet usage and further application of most adeptly using search
tools to lead them from one level to another in the final treasure
hunt. The event was conducted solely by the new recruits into the
club and the effort was highly appreciated.

SALAAM | NAMASTE '06
Date conducted: August 5 (Prelims) & 12 (Finals),2006.
Venue: Student Activity Centre, LNCT.
Turnout: 150 plus.
Level: Intra-college.
Theme of the event:
A first-of-its-kind radio show where the contestants were asked to
prepare and present a radio show of approximately 10 minutes
duration and the complete performance was behind a veil so as to
utilize the magic of radio shows to the full. The top three teams
were rewarded with a prime-time slot on the FM band as well as AM
band of All India Radio subsequently to broadcast their prepared
programmes.

Date conducted: February 20,2006.
Venue: Student Activity Centre, LNCT.
Turnout: 50 plus.
Level: Inter-college.
Theme of the event:
A quiz contest as a part of the college fest - Prayas'06. The quiz
had a central theme in accordance with the theme of the fest that is
our homeland state - Madhya Pradesh. The structure of the quiz was
somewhat similar to the usual contests held by the club with a few
new rounds. The contest however had a strikingly low attendance
owing to simultaneous events being conducted at the fest.

Theme of the event:
A comprehensive seminar on campus recruitment drives given by
successful candidates from the senior batch and also one-to-one
query sessions arranged. The event ended with a live quiz
open-to-all.

Theme of the event:
Quiz contest based on questions pertaining to India and some
questions on general trivia. The rounds of the quiz were structured
similar to
Cognizance and lived up
to the pulsating finish expected.

national interest like The Future of Indo-Pak Peace Process.

Turnout: 450 plus.

Theme of the event:
Quiz contest based on the popular BBC game show of the same name.
The students were quizzed 50% of the time on the subjects of their
choice and the remaining questions were on general knowledge and
aptitude.

Venue: Student Activity Centre, LNCT.
Turnout: 150 plus.

Theme of the event:
Innovative ideas were invited on the prescribed topics. The speakers
were allotted 5 minutes of time to explain their ideas and the
underlying logic behind it and in doing so had to use only chalk &
duster.

Quiz contest with questions from almost any topic under the sun. The
rounds were arranged in such a way that the entire crescendo was
marked with ever-increasingly tantalising questions and a similar
marking pattern.
